Think Tank Services: Research and Training | CYDE Foundation

Services | CYDE Foundation

Digital cyde foundation

What we offer

CYDE Foundation is a young association that is becoming a think tank. We cannot yet offer a long record, but we can offer careful work in four areas, all connected to climate, energy, digital innovation and young people in Morocco and Africa. Our think tank services will cover research, training, project support and events.

Research and analysis

Studies, policy briefs and evidence reviews on climate, energy, youth and digital topics.

Training and learning

Workshops and activities that give young people practical skills and confidence.

Project support

Help to shape a project: a concept note, a plan, a budget outline, indicators and a reporting format.

Events and dialogue

Panels, side events and meetings where young people, experts and decision makers can talk.

Who we work for

Young people looking for skills, contacts and a place to take part. Public institutions and local authorities who need a clear reading of a topic before they decide. Companies, start ups and associations exploring clean energy or digital tools. Funders and partners who want to work with a transparent organisation.

How an engagement works

We start with a conversation to understand your need. We then write a short proposal that sets out the scope, the people involved, the timeline and what we will publish. Once both sides agree, we work to that plan and report at the agreed points. At the end we share the results with you and, where the agreement allows, publish them.

What we will not do

We do not write studies to order, we do not take work that requires us to hide the sources of funding, and we do not support political parties or candidates. These limits protect the credibility that makes our work useful.

Get in touch

Describe your need through the contact page. You can also read our governance principles, see our partners and browse our projects.

Research and analysis in detail

A policy brief from us will open with the recommendation, give the evidence in short sections, say what we do not know and list the sources. A longer study adds the method, the data and the limits. In both cases, we write for someone who has a few minutes and needs to decide.

Training and learning in detail

Our training sessions are built around practice. They mix short explanations with exercises, group work and discussion. Topics start with climate basics, energy use, reading an energy bill and working with data, and will grow with what participants ask for. Sessions can be hosted in a school, a university, a company or an association.

Project support in detail

For organisations that want to launch a project, we can help with a concept note that states the problem, the goal and the approach, a simple plan with milestones, a budget outline, a set of indicators and a format for reporting. We also help to think about risks, such as delays or a partner dropping out, and what to do about them.

Events in detail

We organise and take part in panels, workshops and side events. We prepare each one with a clear question, speakers who bring different views and time for the audience to speak. After the event, we publish a short summary with what was said and what came next.

Questions about working with us

How long does an engagement take? That depends on the scope, and we agree a timeline in writing before we start. Can we publish the results? In most cases yes, and we prefer it, because published work is easier to check and to reuse. Do you work in French or Arabic? Our website is in English, and we will discuss language needs for a given engagement.

Why we offer these services together

Research, training, project support and events reinforce one another. A study is more useful when it is discussed at an event, and a training session is stronger when it uses recent research. Project support gives us direct contact with the people who face the problems we write about.

Because we are a young organisation, we will begin with a small number of engagements and do them carefully. Each one will have a written scope, a named contact and a clear way to judge the result.
